UK National Contact Person for Pharmacovigilance – NCP

All EU Marketing Authorisation Holders with a QPPV located in the EU and hold UK Marketing authorisations will now require to have a National Contact Person for Pharmacovigilance (NCP) who is living in the UK and will report to the QPPV of the MAH in the EU.

The NCP will have the responsibility on the MAH’s behalf to be their main contact person with the MHRA and report back to the MAH.

The MAH is required to register the name and contact details of the NCP with the MHRA, once they have been appointed. The MAH should notify the MHRA of these details via their submissions portal.
